Open period of DSK Stability - European Equities 5
"DSK Stability - European Equities 5" is a national mutual fund whose primary investment objectives are to protect the growth in value of investments - the net asset value per unit calculated as of the last business day of the " limited period" to be no less than 102% of the net asset value per unit calculated as of the last business day of the " open period"). Under current law, the Fund is a national investment fund, which is different from a collective investment scheme. In addition, the Fund also allows for growth in value above the protected amount through exposure to index(es) on European company equities - should the index(es) rise in value at the end of the " limited period", through the use of derivative financial instruments. The Fund's strategy is to use these instruments to allow the Fund to participate in the eventual increase in the value of the underlying asset on which the relevant derivative instruments are purchased, but at the same time to be protected against a decrease in the value of the underlying asset.
In order to meet the investment objectives, the Fund's activities are conditionally divided into "open" and " limited" periods. During the open period, which will last approximately 2 months, the Fund will actively raise funds from investors. During the limited period, which will last about 3 years, it will pursue its main objectives.
The Fund is raising funds from customers during the current 'open period', which runs until 1 March 2024. From the following day, the " limited period" begins, which runs until 18 December 2026.
